Zisa Belfer Forever Your Overwatch part 1
This week our guest is Zisa Belfer, Vice President of the non-profit organization Forever Your Overwatch. They provide safety measures and training for Victims and Survivors of Domestic Violence and violent crimes. Forever Your Overwatch consists of an all-volunteer group led by founder Nick Luciano, founded after he visited a women's shelter three years ago. Since then they have expanded to over ten counties, including Monmouth and Ocean. Surveillance equipment is provided to those in need as well as safety training by former police officers and military personnel. These safety training classes show survivors of violent crime how to stay alert, stay safe, take security measures to protect themselves, and have the confidence to know that their training will take over if they ever again find themselves in a situation where their personal security is at risk.
