John Ducey Brick Mayor part 1
This week, our guest is Mayor of Brick Township John Ducey. Mayor Ducey is currently serving his second term, having been reelected in 2017. Prior to serving as Mayor, he served as Borough Council President from 2012 to 2013. Some of Mayor Ducey's accomplishments include the removal of red light cameras within the town, the stabilization of municipal spending and taxes, the first municipal tax cut in more than thirty years and the reduction of the township's debt by more than 26 million over seven years. Much has been done for the senior population of Brick such as the purchase of new buses for seniors, which currently serve to deliver meals to over seven hundred seniors due to the Covid pandemic.
