We had a great start to the season across most of New South Wales resulting in crops that farmers hadn't seen for many years. Grazing stubble allows farmers to utilise the whole crop and good crops this year have been wonderful but for grazing stock caution needs to be applied. Some crops have been hail damaged or lodged across some parts preventing full harvest and thus leaving excess grain in the stubble. It's Time For Ewe welcomes Dr Jillian Kelly, district vet with Centra West NSW Local Land Services to Summer grazing and related animal health concerns we should be mindful of this year.
