The Utility of Whole Genome Sequencing: Academic and/or Clinically Pragmatic?
Overview: This podcast will explore the utility of whole genome sequencing (WGS) in the context of hospital epidemiology of infection prevention, including recent evidence showcasing success in identifying and/or determining the nidus of a cluster or outbreak. The speakers will explain how they have or are planning to use WGS and the interplay between those performing or studying WGS and clinicians/infection prevention staff.
