b'COL La\\u2019Tonya N. Jordan is a native of Greensboro, North Carolina. She completed eight years of enlisted service in the North Carolina Army National Guard prior to receiving her commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps in 1997. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Speech Pathology from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and a Master\\u2019s of Science in Logistics Management from Florida Institute of Technology. She became the Commander of the U.S. Army 5th Recruiting Brigade July 10 in a virtual ceremony at Fort Sam Houston.'
