Once Heather R. Huhman and her husband developed their careers enough to feel financially solvent, they decided it was time to start building their family. Unfortunately, the journey to motherhood was long and traumatic.\xa0In five years, Heather endured seven embryo transfers (three retrieval cycles with fresh transfers, four frozen transfers), four\xa0miscarriages, and stillborn twins before finally giving birth to her daughter Aurora prematurely in January 2016.\nInspired by her own painful experience with infertility and pregnancy loss, Heather launched a twice weekly podcast called\xa0Beat Infertility\xa0in June 2015.
