Perspectives from a Hopi Archaeologist
To Indigenous archaeologist Lyle Balenquah, archaeological sites are places that are connected to a living culture. As a Hopi archaeologist working on Ancestral Lands on the Colorado Plateau, Lyle's experience in archaeology is different from his non-Native colleagues.
