Today on ScaleUp Radio, I interview Gary Giles, founder of Ogel World and there\\u2019s lots of things about this that made me smile and I know they\'re going to make you smile too.
One is how he came up with the name of the product and another is the fact that I don\'t think I\'ve interviewed anyone else who can remember the exact date and time that they came up with the idea, or at least had the inspiration to go ahead with it.\\xa0
And I\'ve also not had anyone reference a historical character, in this case, Bonnie Prince Charlie, as being instrumental in and fundamental to the design of the product.\\xa0
So Ogel World is all around a unique concept in building design. Essentially using recycled plastics to build walls and modular buildings.
We cover all sorts of lessons along the way from right at the beginning, from going the idea to the proof of concept phase, some of the struggles and then the journey of getting patents and the types of patent.
We also cover his successful experience on Dragon\'s Den, and a subsequent crowdfunding round and a number of other things besides.
So, rather than spoil the story, let\'s go across to the full story from Gary.
