These are the second and third stories I have read from the book. The Monkey works for his uncle for a while and gets some pretty cool toys. Wolf and Jackal are a bit jealous and try to steal the magic bow away from him. It all ends in a wild mess in the courtroom. In story two, Tiger has never seen a Ram before and is a bit frightened by the loud animal. When Jackal tries to convince Tiger to eat the Ram, Ram\'s wife Ewe tells him a trick that will scare away tiger forever.

In this space I am going to start doing podcast recommendations as I love to listen to pods, and you might like the stuff that I listen to too. If you like legends from South Africa, you should check out Legendary Africa hosted by Theshira. She is often reading stories that she has adapted from traditional lore and put her own spin on. Her voice is awesome and I\'m sure you will like her stories. She is also on youtube, instagram, and twitter. Find her and say hi.
