In this story, Fujiwara Hidesato shows his bravery by walking over a sleeping dragon. In return for his bravery he is tasked with killing the mountain sized centipede. It takes time, but he remembers some advice about killing centipedes and is rewarded with several treasures. One treasure is a bag of rice that never goes empty, thus earning him the name Tawara Toda.
