In this story, a farmer wishes for a daughter. He is blessed when he brings home a pussy-willow and a daughter is born. This daughter, Cat-Kin, is taken away to the island of jewels by the Queen Mother. Cat-Kin is then gifted with the jewels that represent Korean personalities and culture. Slightly edited to remove some of the casual racism. Enjoy!
