Building rapport comes naturally when your clients feel like you're on the same page. How do you demonstrate with your client, or anyone else for that matter, how you're listening? You don't want to have a blank stare and a nonchalant energy. Instead, you want to be nodding your head, making eye contact, giving verbal confirmations, etc. It's not about being fake, but showing your clients that you care and you're just as involved as they are.
