Show Notes

We\'re talking with Greg Brisco who has spent most of his career in sales leadership, and now is a recruiter for sales leadership. Greg is the VP of Recruiting at SomethingNew, which is a unique staffing and recruiting firm.

We discuss how to pick a charitable cause that fits with your personality and career.

But if I write my eulogy, what do I want to be known for? I want to be known for helping people. I want to be known for, encouraging people. I want to be known for making sure that people feel better after an interaction with me than they did before the interaction with me.

Tips for figuring out how to incorporate charity and volunteering with your sales career

  • Understand who you are, and what\'s intrinsically important to you
  • Align yourself with an employer that has the same ideals
  • Try to align yourself with clients that have the same ideals

Internal soul searching

  • Understand who you are
  • What you stand for
  • What\'s important to you
  • What are you passionate about

If I could give any advice, if anyone were to ask, like, you have to get introspective.
