As salespeople, our mouths are our #1 asset. You can tell a professional by the language that they use. Sales Pros eliminate jargon with clients even though it's used heavily amongst their peers. Today's episode talks about jargon and how to replace those industry-specific phrases when speaking with a client. Jargon addressed are: - "System" - "Credit app(lication)" - "Down payment/deposit" - "Payment/price/quote/proposal" - "Out-the-door/drive-out" I also discuss the importance of keeping the customer informed of what you're doing and the estimated time it should take you to do it.
