We talk to Andreas Hirblinger and Dana Landau about their recent article on the prominent notion of \\u2018inclusion\\u2019 in peacemaking. Through a combination of theoretical conceptualisation, analysis of policy documents and practitioner interviews, they identify three distinct strategies for inclusion with their attendant framings for the included of \\u2018open\\u2019, \\u2018closed\\u2019, and \\u2018relational.\\u2019 They argue in particular for the latter as the best able recognise the power relations from which difference emerges \\xa0in the construction of an inherently \\u2018agonistic peace.\\u2019 Hosted by Antoine Bousquet.
