Runnin' with Rosea is back after a long holiday!!!
The Tarapoto Lakes in the Amazon region of Colombia were declared Ramsar territory this month. So because of this, we dedicated today's show to explain what the Ramsar agreement is and why protecting wetlands around the world is important. We also shared part of "The Word for World is Forest", a science fiction novel written by the author Ursula Le Guin who recently passed away. Last, we had Fernando Paredes give a 10 min lesson about slang language in our new English Learning on Air section.
