Contemporary dance & Danza en la ciudad
Danza en la Ciudad is a Festival taking place in Bogota from the 1st to the 13th of November.
In today´s show, we had Natalia Orozco, the Director of the Dance Program at Idartes and Rebeca Medina, a dancer a choreographer who will be presenting "Del Otro Lado" a show that makes part of the program of Danza en la Ciudad, as special guests.
We discussed the concept of "dance", the meaning of dancing, what Contemporary Dance is, dance as a form of art, its impact on education and of course the Festival´s program, with some of Natalia´s and Rebeca´s recommendations.
