Have you ever wondered what a religion rooted in puritanism, that fully embodies purity culture and modesty, really believes about sex and sexuality? Have you ever struggled to link the "premarital sex is sin" belief to the "married sex is awesome" one? Biblical sexology just might be the key. Coined by the anonymous (yet all too familiar) Larry Solomon, the idea of biblical sexology is rooted in misogynistic gender roles and ideas about the interactions between married men and women. It also creates a loophole for Evangelicals to openly enjoy sex, which leads to some pretty interesting beliefs, statements, and conclusions.
\nIn Part 2, we are going over a list of 10 sex-related rules that apparently make for a healthy and happy marriage. Can you guess who the rules are for, and who enforces them? Of course you can. Oh, and these rules were supposedly sent to Larry by a faithful (wife and) reader, although even that feels forced and complicated.
\nYou really won't want to miss this one.
