035 - Freaky Friday with Terrance Fleming of Red Panda Network

Published: Nov. 19, 2020, 6 a.m.

Today, the Safari is splitting it's time between Eugene, Oregon (home of the US office of the Red Panda Network) and Nepal (where the work of the RPN gets done).  I'm bringing you my interview with Terrance Fleming of the Red Panda Network.  RPN is easily one of the most impressive conservation organizations out there.  In this episode, we talk all about what it takes to do in situ conservation in Nepal, why community-based conservation is the key to saving the firefox, and so much more.  And of course, there is a lot of discussion about this amazing animal along the way.  Also, Terrance is a drummer as well as a panda lover, just like me.  Get ready to laugh, learn, and conserve!

I'm doing a fund raising contest for this episode! From now until 11:59 Eastern  on 11/25/20, donate to RPN at rb.gy/cw1fnp to be entered into the contest! Rules can be found on my Instagram and Facebook pages!
