Sitting in class with a dunce's cap. Dropping out of school at 13. Leaving home barely a teen to live on the streets, under bridges and in abandoned cars.
\nWho would have believed that these were statements I would be including in the synopsis of a podcast introducing Dr John Demartini? Pffffft, I know I sure didn't.
\n
Dr Demartini foundered his own global research and education organisation, The Demartini Institute. Not bad for a homeless dude with learning difficulties who couldn't read until 18 years old. Now a world renowned authority in human behaviour and personal development, Dr Demartini literally calls the world home, sailing his ship around the globe educating and speaking.
\nI invited Dr Demartini on the show because I myself have followed and learned from his strategies and resources for years now, but little did I know that he would also fit the Roll With The Punches theme so strongly, until I asked about his own journey.
\nHuman behaviour, thinking, self-awareness, the stories we tell ourselves, values determination, perspective... these are all the things I thrive on conversations on. And conversations on these we did have...
\nIf ever there were a perfect episode to sign off on 2020... This is it.
