EP79 Demartini In A Dunce's Cap | Dr John Demartini

Published: Dec. 30, 2020, 8:35 p.m.

Sitting in class with a dunce's cap.  Dropping out of school at 13. Leaving home barely a teen to live on the streets, under bridges and in abandoned cars.

Who would have believed that these were statements  I would be including in the synopsis of a podcast introducing Dr John Demartini?  Pffffft, I know I sure didn't.
\n

\n

Dr Demartini foundered his own global research and education organisation, The Demartini Institute.  Not bad for a homeless dude with learning difficulties who couldn't read until 18 years old.  Now a world renowned authority in human behaviour and personal development,  Dr Demartini literally calls the world home, sailing his ship around the globe educating and speaking.

\n

I invited Dr Demartini on the show because I myself have followed and learned from his strategies and resources for years now, but little did I know that he would also fit the Roll With The Punches theme so strongly, until I asked about his own journey.

\n

Human behaviour, thinking, self-awareness, the stories we tell ourselves, values determination, perspective... these are all the things I thrive on conversations on.  And conversations on these we did have...

If ever there were a perfect episode to sign off on 2020... This is it.
