Moving on to The Real Alternative award, we wanted to celebrate the bands who do things themselves and find huge success in doing so. This year, that band couldn’t have been anyone other than While She Sleeps. Building their own HQ and creating new album ‘You Are We’ purely with fan backing, the album not only exceeded expectations, it hit the UK Top 10 completely independently and has made the band bigger than ever. We caught up with Loz Taylor to get the full story from the eye of the storm.
