Authorities have uncovered a new lead in their investigations over how Covid-19 made it back into the community - albeit a tenuous one. Health officials have so far been confounded by how three members of a South Auckland family caught the virus before testing positive on Saturday. Genome sequencing has now found a potential link with a guest in managed isolation six weeks ago - but officials caution it's still a highly unlikely option.
