On this week's episode of Riseupworldwide, it was our Black History Episode. We started off by talking about Dr. Te's visit to the National Museum of African American History & Culture which recently opened in Washington DC. We shared some thoughts on Black People's accomplishments in history and how far we've come in history. Joe Boss even blessed us with some spoken word tracks. In the second our, the topic was " What would your present self tell your 18 year old self.?" Dr Te waxed poetic about completing her doctoral degree and her words were "Don't be so hard on yourself." Joe Boss said said he would tell himself to find more positives influences to hang around him and G Dott said to be more conscious of finances and debt.
