We’ve surreptitiously designated this week ‘Canada Week’ in honour of Remfry sitting down with Luke and Kyle from Hamilton, Ontario alt-rock trio The Dirty Nil to discuss their 5 favourite Canadian punk bands. Sticking with the ‘Canada’ theme, Steve and Remfry also review Fucked Up’s latest double album opus ‘Dose Your Dreams’, alongside Echo & The Bunnymen’s re-imagination record The Stars, The Ocean & The Moon’ and the debut album from one of our 12 Unsung Heroes of 2018 (all the way back in the glory days of episode one) Wild Cat Strike.

Steve and Remfry also discuss the frankly pathetic attempt made by Shaggy 2 Dope (he of Insane Clown Posse) to drop kick Fred Durst in the head, the Nirvana ‘reunion’ and why it is most patently NOT a reunion and the validity of covering Twenty One Pilots on a future show. Plus, there’s a hideously unfair Trade Off, where Steve receives Ilenkus’s 2014 album ‘The Crossing’, whilst Remfry gets to the ‘pleasure’ of wrapping his forever damaged ears around Clawfinger’s 1997 self-titled album ... he’s not been the same since.
