Cornyn discusses the state of the economy at RGV Hispanic Chamber event
EDINBURG, TEXAS \u2013 The RGV Hispanic Chamber of Commerce hosted a \u201cState of Congress\u201d luncheon with senior US Senator John Cornyn at the Edinburg Conference At Renaissance on October 9.\xa0
The moderator was Julian Alvarez, senior vice president for business development at Lone Star National Bank.
Alvarez asked Senator Cornyn about the state of the economy. He responded by saying: \u201cTexas remains the economic engine that really drives the rest of the country.\u201d
