An interview with harmonica player Tim Gonzalez

Published: Oct. 8, 2019, 11 a.m.

Tim Gonzalez has been referred to as the Carlos Santana of the harmonica.

Gonzalez, a Brownsville native, is now Nashville session musician. He has made music with the likes of B.B. King, Ronnie Milsap, Doug Stone, Pam Tillis, and Toby Keith.

Gonzalez will be playing a gig at the LongBoard Bar & Grill on South Padre Island on Oct. 12, 2019.

I recently touched base with Tim Gonzalez about his newest project in the Reggaton Genre and also about his upcoming album, Harp Gumbo.\xa0
