Rhonda’s “Grownfolk” music is funky, wholehearted, and wildly intelligent and described by many as “Inspired Neo-Soul”. Her most recent CD, In Case You Didn’t Know includes songs like, “Nobody’s Business”, which is a groovy, bass-led reminder that your joy comes from the inside and it’s nobody else’s job to make you happy. Rhonda’s artistic expression encompasses TV, theater and film as well. She burst onto the acting scene with her highly acclaimed portrayal of “Toni Burrell” on the NBC soap opera, Another World. Within months, she had earned an Emmy Award nomination. She starred in "Bessie Coleman: A Dream to Fly" on Showtime, and the cult classic: “The Temptations” as well as the feature film, “Hook’d Up" and toured nationally with The Vagina Monologues. But she is not only a performing artist, Rhonda is also a writer and producer.  Rhonda is proud to sit on the boards of the following not-for-profit organizations: Hearts of Gold, Figure Skating in Harlem, and Motown EDU - all of which focus on the education and well-being of children. Rhonda is currently penning a newsletter titled "The Force Within” on Meta / Facebook’s platform for independent writers in which she explores the everyday tools that women can employ to boost their joy, peace and inner-fortitude as we juggle our roles as mothers, daughters, entrepreneurs, artists, sisters, & friends.
