He has numerous leading New York and regional theatre roles, many film, television and radio appearances, an acclaimed solo album, and over two dozen original and studio cast recordings to his credit. He’s been honored with the Hollywood Drama-Logue and Chicago Jeff Awards for his work as an actor, by the Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs for four of his nightclub acts and twice by the NY Nightlife Awards. Miles received his graduate training with the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and his MFA from the National Theatre Conservatory. His acclaimed directorial ventures span from contemporary to classical theatre, from full scale musicals to concerts, cabaret, and film. Since his return to Hawaii, Miles has been honored by the Hawaii State Theatre Council with Po'okela Awards for his direction of Shear Madness (Manoa Valley Theatre) and 1776 (Paliku Theatre), and for his performance as Ebenezer Scrooge in A Christmas Carol: The Musical (Diamond Head Theatre).
