The catchy idea with MMT is that fiscal deficits don\\u2019t matter and that governments can print money to pay their expenses. I\\u2019m going to unpack a lot of what MMT is and deconstruct a few myths around the theory.  It\\u2019s an expansive topic that\\u2019s been put forth by some of the brightest minds in finance so I definitely won\\u2019t be making every argument for and against it today but this will be a good primer to build from.
