Episode 17: Kamala Sankaram
From a gothic country band to firework coloratura vocals, Kamala Sankaram is a composer and vocalist who knows bel canto AND belting. Her set for Resonant Bodies Festival on September 7th 2017 reflects her polyglot artistic ways and includes a world premiere of her own composition, as well as her eclectica Yma Sumac cover band Bombay Rickey.
