Today we're celebrating Ron DeSantis, seemingly one of the only Republican politicians with an actual spine, hitting back against Disney after the company tried to use lies and propaganda to stoke opposition to the Parental Rights in Education bill. For some reason, the Left is still mad about this law, and many of them still actually think it's called the "Don't Say Gay" bill. However, as we've discussed, all the bill does now that it's been made law is to guarantee that schools and teachers cannot keep secrets from parents and that explicit discussion of sex and gender identity cannot be included in school curriculum. But that didn't stop Disney from raising a disrespectful ruckus about it, and now it's paying the price, as DeSantis has stripped Disney of special legal privileges that allowed the company to effectively institute its own government on its land.
