The Gift of Gratitude

If we choose to focus on the negative, we can fill our lives with a plethora of bad news, horrible stories, and feelings of fear.  It’s all around us—in the news, on social media, and laced in the conversations we have with others.  Similarly, when we are stuck within our own heads and focus on ourselves, we find an endless number of things that trouble us.  We wish we were skinnier, smarter, healthier, wealthier, more successful than we are.  We are upset because we didn’t get that promotion, offended because we weren’t included, or hurt because we thought we were more deserving.  To combat this negativity Steve Coughran shares a simple pattern that we can establish in our lives to invite a greater sense of gratitude.
