The Redfield Arts Vevue Episode 1: In conversation with Martin Grams, Jr. Welcome to the show! When I decided to produce audio drama, you know, radio drama but distributed on new media and new mediums— computers, phones, what have you, everything EXCEPT radio, it was because I was already a fan of radio drama from the 1930s, 40s, and 50s. Loving the art form, and also being an avid listener of contemporary BBC radio drama from England, I thought it’d be interesting to chat with someone who really knows the history of American radio drama and entertainment, and that someone is Martin Grams, Jr. We had such a great talk that I asked Martin to contribute a regular segment to our podcasts about these old radio programs, or OTR as they’re known by the hardcore fans who collect and listen to these shows from yesteryear. -Mark Redfield You can find Martin Gram Jr.’s books at http://martingrams.biz/ And info on The Mid-Atlantic Nostalgia Convention at https://www.midatlanticnostalgiaconvention.com/ Thank you for listening to The Redfield Arts Revue.
