You Either Love Him or You Hate Him
In this passage Jesus gets at the heart of true religion and forces us to come to terms with who he is. When we worship, how we worship, what we worship, and why we worship are not options or left to silence or indifference. Worship is defined by him. Therefore he forces us to draw conclusions about who he is, why he came, and what it means to follow him. There is no third option with Jesus. You'll either love him, or you'll hate him.
