The Problem, the Penalty, and the Promise

In Micah's first message to the people of Israel, we can identify a problem: the glory of God and the sinfulness of man, a penalty: the justice of God and the punishment of man, and a promise: the mercy of God and the blessed hope of man. In other words, Micah preaches the Gospel! We praise the Lord because we see in Micah that this glorious God has made a way for sinful man to pass through the just punishment for sin, by placing the penalty on his Son, so that we can receive the promise of mercy and hope through the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.Scripture: 1:2-2:13Series: Micah: What Does the Lord Require?
