b'Chubby Checker\'s \\u201cThe Twist\\u201d was a #1 song not once but twice \\u2014 in 1960 and again in 1961. The song that started a worldwide dance phenomenon was a cover of an old Hank Ballard B-side. \\n\\nChubby had more big hits with \\u201cLet\\u2019s Twist Again\\u201d in 1961, \\u201cSlow Twistin\\u2019\\u201d (with Dee Dee Sharp) in 1962, and \\u201cTwist It Up\\u201d in 1963.
