Taylor Hughes is a country/blues artist and singer-songwriter from  Lexington, Kentucky but now resides in Franklin, Tennessee.  She has  been performing professionally for a little over 5 years now but got her  "start" in Nashville on a TV comcast called "Nashville Spotlight."  Award winning gospel singer and vocal coach, Christy Sutherland, has  described Taylor\'s voice as "rich chocolate cake with soul."  Taylor has  been nominated multiple times for best female vocalist,  singer-songwriter, song of year, and best country act for the Lexington  Music awards. She was awarded best singer-songwriter and song of the  year in 2016 and best female vocalist in 2018.  Hughes has played at  several prestigious venues such as the world famous Stations Inn,  Manchester Music Hall, and The Lyric Theater. She has opened for great  artists such as Chase Rice, Sam Riggs, Angaleena Presley (from Pistol  Annies), Striking Matches, Riley Green and Olivia Dvorak just to name a  few.
