Welcome to Episode 96 and Arts and Wellness Wednesday.  Today I am sharing about the work that I have been doing in the Arts and Health field.  It all started for me when my mother began showing signs of Dementia and we had to put something in place to manage - I needed to find a way to cope through it all.  I have found creativity to be a lifesaver and not only helped me cope with the ever increasing demands on my time, but also was a great tool for my mother to be able to express herself in different ways.

The more I got involved into the connection between art, creativity and health the more opportunities opened up to be able to talk about the work I was doing and people who were impacted.

\\n

On Wednesdays we focus on the Arts and how it can impact our health and well-being, looking at activities that you can do to be more creative across the board and for those who are carers tips and strategies that you can use. I will also be sharing reviews, resources and other insights. I will be looking at the nuggets that the artists share and see how we can apply it in some way to our own lives, what ever your interests.
