Neal is currently doing his 2 year, 7,200 mile solo transcontinental canoe journey across the United States. 22 Rivers traveling from Oregon to New York via canoe! Dubbed a modern-day Huck Finn" by CNN, adventurer/storyteller Neal Moore's work from North America, Africa, and the Far East has appeared in The New Yorker, Der Spiegel, and on CNN International. A storyteller, everyday explorer, and veteran of a solo canoe trip down the length of the Mississippi, Neal is the author of "Down the Mississippi" (Mark Twain Museum Press) and is currently doing his 2 year, 7,200 mile solo transcontinental canoe journey across the United States.
