There are a lot of people that are killing it right now with vacant land, and hardly anybody knows about this. When you look at the big picture, it might seem like there are a ton of people in the game, especially if you listen to a lot of podcasts, but there’s a ton of untapped opportunities. Land investor Dan Haberkost and I discuss why vacant land is such a huge blue ocean right now. It sounds kind of like an oxymoron -vacant land, blue ocean - but it's not. There is so much opportunity right now, especially with where the market is going. Dan and I talk about why the housing market and other types of real estate are so inefficient and how maybe that’s a good thing in the environment we’re currently in.

Dan has a company called Front Range Land out of Colorado Springs, Colorado. He started out working for a guy who owned a farm and a portfolio of rentals. At 20, Dan realized he wanted to accelerate his financial freedom through investing, which led him to real estate. He later got into vacant land and the rest is history. Dan and I walk through how he searches for and finds the best deals and the software programs he uses. We also talk about sending offers and neutral letters, advice for new land investors, advertising properties, and closing. To download Dan’s free FAQ one-pager, head to the link below.
