When I first started out in the real estate investing business, I listened to podcasts by Rick Otton from Australia. Now, years later, I\\u2019ve had the opportunity to connect with Rick, and hopefully very soon I\\u2019ll be interviewing him for one of my Real Estate Mastery Podcast episodes. It will be fascinating because Rick is presently flipping houses in Greece.

The idea for this In Your Car episode came when I was listening to Rick\\u2019s episode #161. His podcast is We Buy Houses Radio. Rick is a master at knowing how to talk to sellers and especially how to ask all the right questions. (The \\u201cwhy\\u201d questions.) When you ask the right questions, you know quickly whether the seller is motivated or not.

One of the key warnings Rick gives is to not allow the seller\\u2019s problem to become your problem. You\\u2019re not there to be part of their problem; you\\u2019re there to offer the solution to their problem.
