The dynamic in the London land market is changing, with sites previously earmarked for residential development remaining as industrial as land values for the sector soar in the capital. With a need for new homes and for well-located industrial & logistics space to service them, how do we balance these two competing uses? While the London Plan, adopted in 2021, supports co-location as part of its ‘beds and sheds’ policy, it’s clear that this is not always viable and alternative solutions are needed.

Join Guy Ruddle and guests, Lydia McLaren, associate in the residential research team, Bridget Outtrim, director in the industrial & logistics team and Ed De Jonge, director in the development land team as they discuss the impact on both sectors and how they might co-exist moving forward.
