Mike Reiss has won four Emmys and a Peabody Award during his twenty-eight years writing for \\u201cThe Simpsons\\u201d. He ran the show in Season 4, which Entertainment Weekly called \\u201cthe greatest season of the greatest show in history.\\u201d Mike co-created the animated series \\u201cThe Critic\\u201d and created Showtime\\u2019s hit cartoon \\u201cQueer Duck\\u201d (about a gay duck). In 2006, he received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Animation Writers Caucus. Mike has been a contributing writer to more than two dozen animated films \\u2014 including four ICE AGEs, two DESPICABLE MEs, THE LORAX, RIO, KUNG FU PANDA 3, and THE SIMPSONS MOVIE \\u2013 with a worldwide gross of $14 billion. He has been happily married for thirty years. Like most children\\u2019s book authors, he has no children.
