Our next guest is a legend in performing, please welcome Scottbars! Psychedelic hip hop with a touch of rock & an emphasis on dope mixes & production. Refreshing & nostalgic; scottbars is hectic, scottbars is chill; an audible oxymoron; if you will. scottbars is no stranger to the Brisbane music scene; spending the last decade performing in alt rock bands and creating music videos, this project is a culmination of lived experience and appreciation of experimental music. Drawing inspiration from an eclectic mix of hip hop and psychedelic rock, scottbars sounds as if Dr. Dre started an indie rock band with King Gizzard. All his work is produced independently, utilizing a hybrid of digital and analogue instruments and loops to create a truly unique soundscape that could be described as neither lo-fi or hi-fi.
