Think about it this way.

If you have a pug that weighs 40 pounds and your dogs\' normal body weight should be 30 pounds. That\'s a 25% increase in weight. That\'s the worst thing you can do.

You need to keep your dog exercising so that you can keep their joints mobile, keep them lubricated and not let them get stiff.
