Nikita Purdy aka the indomitable LADY G, has been performing spoken word ALL over Jacksonville since 2003. She has performed on legendary stages like The Ritz Theater & Museum, The Cypher Open Mic Poetry & Soul and more. She has curated and lead creative writing workshops on college campuses such as Florida State College of Jacksonville and in halls of The St. Augustine Youth Detention Center. Part of the award-winning international poetry group Black on Black Rhyme, Lady G's words are delivered off the tip of a passionate tongue, forged from experience and resonating with the wisdom of a conscious community. She also represented the Duval Slam Team last year in Fayetteville, NC for the 27th Annual Southern Fried Poetry Slam. She is an educator, healer, poet and soon to be author with her forthcoming collection of poetry entitled: God's Dictation.
