b"Tribute to NYC based 'underground disco' super-producer Patrick Adams. His bio is impressive\\u2026and spans from playing, songwriting, producing, arranging, engineering\\u2026 to managing and running labels. \\n\\nAdams got his start in music\\u2026 up in Harlem. In the E70s after his success with managing and producing the band Black Ivory, he landed a job at Today records. By the time he left Perception in \\u201874 he was one of the mainstays of the New York recording scene. In the M70s\\u2026he made quick transition into disco and boogie. B/W \\u201877 and \\u201882 he made more than 20 projects for Prelude records and other labels. \\n\\nDuring that time, Patrick Adams really shined in the releases he made for now legendary and highly collectable P&P label which was owned by NYC based record promoter Peter Brown.
