Radio Sweden Weekly: Coronavirus updates, retraining for the pandemic, sailing and self-isolation

Published: April 2, 2020, 2:30 p.m.

Stay home for Easter and get ready for more rough days ahead. Or, should we say, months.

That's the message this week from Sweden's government which imposed new restrictions and promised to increase testing to tract the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus. Plus, the Swedish economy is getting hammered by the pandemic, with the country posting record job losses for the month of March. We hear how that fallout is prompting some in the airline industry to retrain as healthcare workers. And, need some tips on dealing with being alone? We speak to a man who knows a thing or two about that, after he sailed nonstop around the world by himself for 223 days.
