Italy's financial problems have affected the DOW last week here in the States, since there financial calamity in 2011 they have been since trying to recover. How they affected us, is because they are the 3rd largest economy in Europe and the 4th largest bond market in the world. With all of the financial issues, they are having this had had a big pull on the market.
