"Garage Rock" is a term that was first used in the Sixties to describe a raw rock sound along with an attitude of anger or disdain towards an antagonist in a song. The production value was very minimal and the results were an exciting and powerful sound. The term was later referenced as 'Punk Rock" or identified as "Nuggets", a term associated with the original Elektra Records compilation of 1960's underground and psychedelic rock. Garage Rock is still with us today despite some people playing music on a laptop on stage. People still want to hear the raw power of a band playing live and the excitement that comes from pure rock 'n roll.
